Chesapeake RC

The Chesapeake Flyers RC club is a non-profit organization focused on one thing...fun!! Our flying field is located 20 miles south west of Virginia Beach, VA. Our airfield is open, to members and spectators, Mon-Sat 10:30 AM till dusk and Sun 12:30 PM till dusk. We welcome enthusiasts of all ages, and currently maintain approximately 17 members. We pride ourselves as a club dedicated to helping out newcomers by answering all your questions, helping you learn to fly, and guiding you along your way to becoming a good pilot. If you are a beginner to this hobby you probably have many questions you need answered. We have an excellent and well established flight training program with club certified instructors allowing you to learn to fly with fewer mishaps. This will keep your flying costs down, minimize your frustration and make the whole experience much more enjoyable. If you are an experienced pilot, we have one of the finest maintained grass runways in the Virginia area. Our members are friendly, helpful and fun! Our members have varied interests including fixed wing, helicopters, scale (both large and small), sport, 3D, combat, pattern, and electric.

New to RC flying. Want to see how it feels before you shell out the money for a plane. Then come on out and try our Discover RC Flying program. This program will allow you to fly the club trainer on a "buddy box" with one of our certified club instructors. You'll feel the blood pulse through your veins as you fly for the first time, and the best thing is it's 100% FREE.
